Is there a way to keep all the TRVs open but no heating?

I’d like to be able to leave all the valves open for the summer without the boiler firing. This reduces the likely hood of the sticking shut. Spent too much time sat on the floor pressing the plungers.

@JBdoessound Hello. I suppose it depends on your system. I could do this by turning off heating (not hot water) at the boiler and then putting each TRV into 'asking for heat' mode. I like your handle - are you a hifi buff?

  • Thanks for your reply. Not so much a hifi buff. I’m a live sound engineer, now teach at a Uni.

My system doesn’t allow that kind of switching, so if I leave the TRVs asking for heat it all gets a bit toasty. Be nice to have a little switch in the software to be able to achieve this.
  • Many thanks. I’ll think about it for next year.
