Radiators still hot when they should be off with the Smart Radiator Thermostat

I have no idea if this will help, but when I first used the radiator thermostats, they didn't fully close the water flow. I realised that the pins were too stiff (perhaps clogged with limescale or something) - so now each year I remove the thermostat and get some pliers and push the pin in and out a few times until it loosens up. Then I reset the thermostat so that it can recalibrate to the freed up pin. Worked a charm for me.

Recalibration was the key

Hello Nissdk,
samd suggestion is a good idea. However, if that wouldn't solve your case, please contact our support chat at www.tado.com

We have this problem also. The radiator valves are recording 27 degrees and rads are red hot when we have set to frost protection. These are installed in a holiday let and it could be that guests are breaking/fiddling with the fittings. Where do we get the metal converters from please as we were supplied with plastic ones. Could anything else cause this where the valve is not following instruction? Thanks in advance
