Battery Low - Smart TS

Hi,

I have installed a smart thermostat in the hall and a TRV on each radiator 6 months ago.

I’ve had to replace the hall thermostat on the wall at least 3 times already. And today I’ve had another notification telling me the battery is low For the thermostat requires three new alkaline AAA batteries (LR03). But Don’t worry if you can’t change the batteries immediately, the current charge will last for at least three more weeks.

I highly doubt it will last three days never mind three weeks.

The question is why is it burning through good quality battery power so much?

    @Rosko89 Hello. I'm afraid I cannot give you an answer but I installed 2 wall thermostats 7 months ago and both are still working fine on their original batteries. Given that comparison, I think it's worth speaking to support on the chat line at tado.com
