Timer kicks in but boiler doesn’t stay on

I have the smart thermostat and extension kit. Boiler switches when extension kit timer kicks in but doesn’t fully fire up and switches off after few minutes - seems to do what it would do at the end of a heating period. Have only just fitted it today so may have set something up incorrectly, but all devices show as working normally.

if I set a manual temperature boiler kicks in and stays operational until temp or time has been met.
