Thermostat lost contact with boiler
I wonder if there’s any wisdom within this group, I’m making very little progress with the Tado tech guys!
My bridge has broken - won’t even power on, a replacement has now been sent but not yet arrived. The thermostat itself was working, albeit manually, but seems to have lost connection with the boiler - I woke this morning to a rather toasty 23.9 degrees, probably negating any savings I’ve made over winter ...
Does anyone know how I can force connection without a bridge? As I say, Tado themselves not responded despite being asked more than once, and can find no online guide.
Thanks, in advance

Hi,
I'm sorry that you haven't had a response yet.
I'm assuming that you have an Extension Kit, so without a bridge the Extension Kit won't know whether to turn the boiler on or off as it won't receive any instructions from the Smart Thermostat.
For this eventuality, there is a redundancy built into the Extension Kit, and you can toggle the heating on / off over the button on the Extension Kit itself. More info here: How can I control my heating system when the radio link between the Smart Thermostat and the Extension Kit is lost?
Best regards,
Frank
