Smart TRV offsets
Hi, sorry for appearing dense but I need some advice on setting the offset in our living room. I have an independent thermostat in the room measuring 24 when the radiator is at 22. Do I increase the offset +2 or decrease it -2. Think it should be +2 to 24 to match room thermostat. If the valve was reading higher than the thermostat then increase the -ve offset. Is this theory correct? What is the best way to set it?I've been getting the room to reach 22 on the thermostat, then checked TRV reading and adjusted from there but there always seems an overshoot of 1 or 2 degrees. Any help greatly appreciated

@tadcad01 Hello. You are correct in your operation of the offset but as an aside, I am intrigued by your findings in that all my tado radstats turn off too early. Is your independent stat correct - 24 is significantly 'warm'? You will see a number of posts on here showing the tado radstats as less than accurate!
