Defeat Loss of Internet or not?

If I were to put a manual switch between the boiler-control thermostat and the boiler, I could then turn on the boiler manually in the event of loss of comms. That being so, could I then manually turn on individual tado TRVs, at the TRV, as required please?

Hello samd,

If you have a Smart Thermostat directly connected to the boiler. You can simple control the heating by pushing the round button on the device and then setting your heating to your preferred setting and your TRVs can be set by turning the dial to the desired temperature.

Loss of internet only affects certain Smart features, such as the Smart Schedule, Geofencing etc.

By "Loss of comms", do you mean in the event of loss of internet at your home? If so, even if you lose connection with the internet, as long as the bridge is still in operation, you can still manually control your heating from your Smart Thermostat/Extension Kit,

@Joey Thanks for your response. You are correct in assuming comms as loss of internet. I had read that article but I do not have an extension kit and couldn't find a similar article for my situation.
