Tado X not communicating with boiler
Hi all,
I've recently moved into a property that has an Ideal Logic+ Combi 30. It currently only has a Mechanical 24hr timer installed in the front face.
I have attempted to install my Tado extension kit but it doesn't seem to fire the boiler or stop it from firing. As part of the fault finding I have removed the extension kit completely and left the room stat bridging wire (red loop) disconnected to ensure the terminals were working as expected. I expected the boiler not to fire with this wire disconnected and the mechanical timer set to the "always on" switch, however the boiler still fires. I'm assuming this issue is preventing the extension kit from having much effect on the boiler as the Tado instructions state that the mechanical timer should be left in the "always on" position.
