Pump not working for hw.
I have just installed V3+ and ch is working fine. However hw is not working because the is no connection from bridge (hw) to the pump. How do I connect the pump so that it doesn’t also turn on the ch?
thank you in anticipation

Would you describe your system? Was it working fine before the swap, or is this a fresh installation?
- Model of boiler, and is it a combi or system boiler?
- Whether it has a Y Plan or S Plan. Y plans have a single three port motorised valve. S Plans have two, or more two-port motorised valves.
- Is the pump to which you refer the only one in the house handling heat from the boiler?
- Is there a wiring centre in place? What is the brand and model?
- Do you have under floor heating with a dedicated pump there?
- What did you install from Tado, specifically?
Come back, will help.

many thanks for your reply.
I have since resolved the problem. The system is an S system operated by a Warmflow oil burner and controlled previously by a CTC programmer. The problem was that no connection went from the programmer to the pump on the H/W side, both brown and grey were connected to the motorised valve. I connected the grey from the timer to the pump and that resolved the issue.
Many thanks again for taking the time to reply. On reflection I should have posted that I had resolved the problem, my apologies for not doing so.
