Which is more energy efficient for heating, thermostatic or non-thermostatic mode?

Hi,

Has anyone (or Tado) measured which mode is more energy efficient for heating (especially in Nordic climate)? Keeping constant operation with non-thermostatic mode (AC controls temperature and operation) or thermostatic mode where Tado controls AC to max temp or turn it off.

Thermostatic mode covers outside temperature changes better but it's not as nice/smooth as AC controlling the temperature (which you need to sometimes adjust based on outside temperature). But knowing which one is more energy efficient would help deciding which mode to use.

Cheers, Jussi
