Hot water working but not heating

Hi a few days ago my heating stopped working . Battery was low in handheld so replaced battery in case it was that . Shows room temperature and select heating and temperature but heating doesn't respond. Hot water all working fine though. Tried various things ..more new batteries and restarting unit on boiler etc but no joy...any advice appreciated..chilly here lol

    If your system is Y or X plan could it be a valve failure ?

    If you have a hot water tank and one valve with one pipe in and two pipes out it’s Y plan. If you have two (or more) valves each with two pipes only then it’s S plan.
