Wireless Temperature Sensor no lights / unresponsive (no hot water or heating)

Hi, my Wireless Temperature Sensor when i press the button or hold it to pair shows no image at all. Ive tried 2 sets of different batteries. The sensor is about 18 months old maybe its failed?

The consequences are now for my whole tado system is i can turn on the hot water or central hearing

    I hope you don't mind, I had a look at your support chat.
    In your case, it seems the batteries were wrongly placed in.
    It's important to make sure the positive (+) and the negative (-) battery polarities are correctly aligned with the symbols in the battery compartment.
