Do I need the wired or wireless starter kit for my setup?
Hello, I have below setup in my home, I'm confused to whether to buy wireless or wired starter kit, can someone please help?
Y plan setup, I think central heating is pump fed (please see pictures)
Potterton profile boiler
Wired Thermostat in living room
Honeywell ST699B controller
As per title do I need wired or Wireless kit?
If I get the wireless kit, what do I do with the existing thermostat? disconnect or do I have to bridge it.
This is a UK home if it makes any difference.
Many thanks.

Hello @Jimmy23 Looking at your existing controls and the mid-position (Y-Plan) valve, I'd go for the wireless starter kit. The wireless receiver in the kit will replace your Honeywell controller and controls both CH and HW. You'll bridge the old wired thermostat with a Wago connector from the kit and use the wireless thermostat. Tado support will give you wiring instructions when you start the install.
Notes.
Wiring safety and regs: The programmer wiring should be replaced by a qualified professional.
££ saving: The pipework looks like a candidate for some insulation.1

Thanks very much, I will go with wireless option and add some insulation to pipes.
