Adding a Second Wireless Sensor for Independent Zone Control

Hi everyone,

I’m currently using Tado to manage my heating, but I’m facing an issue with my setup and need advice.

In my home:

  • Downstairs: Floor heating is controlled by a wireless Tado temperature sensor, and it works great. Used to be AEG thermostat.
  • Upstairs: Radiators are controlled by AEG thermostats and separate valves on the boiler.

The problem is that upstairs is currently limited to what’s happening downstairs because tado overrules everything now, and I’d like to manage the two zones independently. Would it be possible to add a second Tado wireless temperature sensor for the upstairs zone and configure it to work separately from the downstairs system?

Any insights or guidance would be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance!
