Replacing V3 with Tado X
I am looking at replacing my current Tado set up of a V3 wired thermostat and extension to control central heating and hot water on Worcester Bosch boiler (no Open Therm) with Tado X. I already have a Thread network in my home. What do I need to make the conversion? I also have Tado radiator thermostats and V3 bridge. Will I loose my free auto assist?

Hello @truespirit
With regards to Auto-Assist, you will be able to keep your free subscription (assuming you were sent an upgrade offer via email - if not, please see this thread)
If you don't have OpenTherm, you'll have to make due with relay as tado° X does not support ebus.
With tado° X you don't need an Internet Bridge, as long as you have a Thread Border Router, but make that it is either an Apple TV 4K (2nd generation or 3rd generation 128 GB), HomePod (2nd generation) or HomePod mini.
We have a dedicated tado° X Help Center. Please refer to this Help Center to do your research and not the V3+ Help Center as both products are based on different technologies and do not offer the same features.
P.s. it's worth re-iterating for the sake of absolute clarity that V3 and tado° X are not compatible. Therefore both cannot function simultaneously on the same account.0
