Has anyone wired a tado v3+ to a vaillant ecotec pro 28 combi boiler?

I am after a video or images of where the wires are fitted in the boiler and the receiver. The boiler has a built in timer and it's a 1st time after tado is fitted that it will have a thermostat. Thanks
Neil

Hi. The installation guide is here: 839592_06_GB_082007.indd. Look at pages 26-28. Print them.

Then contact Tado via the app and ask for the instructions to implement EBUS, mode D07, for that boiler using your Tado products, and request a complete guide to fitting it to the boiler.

They will likely ask you to wire your boiler via the two BUS pins (identified on page 26) to a Tado Smart WIRED Thermostat - and they do have a guide for this.

If you need more help then come back here. This boiler has been mentioned many times in the last two years.

It is likely that you may have to leave the original timer in place. If you want to control your home fully via the app you need to implement the tado bits, then set your boiler's timer so it is in operation 24 hours a day. That should then handover time controls to the app.
