Moved home and don’t know what to do

I have the following -

Extension Kit
3 wireless V3+ Thermostats
6 TVRs

All purchased in late 2019. All worked great at my old house with a Worcester boiler.

A year ago I moved house, it has a hive dual channel system. It’s fine, but I’ve finally got round to installing my Tado system. Everything has been offline for a year. In the new house I have an Ideal HE24 boiler.

I had an electrician installing some lights, so I got him to install my extension also.

I put batteries into one of the V3 thermostats and connected the bridge, everything else didn’t have batteries in them. The bridge, thermostat and extension all appeared connected in the app and I changed the boiler in the app to the correct Ideal model.

I tried to trigger the hot water in the app and on the thermostat and it wouldn’t work.

The electrician was able to trigger a test from the extension kit which fired up the boiler, suggesting the extension was wired correctly. I have no idea why the app and thermostat couldn’t switch on the boiler. Anyway I got him to reinstall the hive as I can’t be without hot water and heat.

Don’t even know where to start with this, couldn’t find a tado helpline, and the link for a list
of approved installers on the website seems to be broken.

I’m in the north east of England, looking for an installer who can help or some directions on where to even start with this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The support links are built into the App with the capacity to inform Tado, from the app, that you've moved house and it should all be reset.

Some questions. Is this an ICOS HE24, or another model of Ideal HE24? This is the installation guide for that model: Icos HE24.pdf. Page 24 gives the wiring for installing the controls.

    Some questions.

    1. Does this house have a HW tank?
    2. Are there any motorised zone valves in place near the pump? If so, what switches those valves?

    1. Yes, my house has a hot water tank.

    2. I’m not sure about this, my knowledge isn’t great. There is a 2 channel Hive system currently installed, from the thermostat I can set schedule or turn on the hot water and heating. I don’t know whether this helps answer your question?

This looks like either a wiring problem or a problem of communication between Tado devices. Please answer these questions.
    1. Did the sparkie directly swap the Hive with the Wireless receiver? Please take photos of both in position and post them here using a laptop browser.
    2. What is the exact model of boiler?
    3. Are you absolutely sure the extension kit is talking to your Internet bridge and that the relevant Stats are powered? Your can check that by asking for heat on the app which, makes it light up and makes the extension kit also light up.
    4. Do the thermostats light up, complete their linking with the bridge?
