Wired Tado V3+

received a message regarding low batteries . 1) is changing the batteries necessary as the thermostat is wired ?
2) does it mean the whole thing will need to be reset ?
3) how do we remove the cover ? I can’t see any screws . I am frightened to break the cover !
Thank you

    @Chb Hello Chb.
    1) Yes. Both the wired thermostat and wireless temperature sensor include AAA batteries that will require changing, albeit infrequently. Three of ours have lasted >2 years.
    2). No.
    3). To open the sensor and access the batteries, pull gently from the bottom. There are two small retaining clips at the top and a single larger clip at the bottom in the centre. They should come apart easily from the bottom and pivot at the top. The battery compartment of the sensor is inside the device.
