Thermostat and trv working together

I have a radiator that is Infront of a large full height window. It's got a smart trv fitted but the temperature seems to fluctuate rapidly often indicating that the room is too cold when in fact its over 22°. I've tried adjust the temperature to what it is at the centre of the room but it doesn't seem to work.

My question is is it possible to use the trv and thermostat in tandem, like a remote thermostat that will override the TRVs reading?

Cheers

    Assign both to the same logical room. It should make a huge difference

    @Scottt03 ,

    yes, if you add a Tado wireless temp sensor to the room, you can put it in the position where you want to measure temp and set it to be the measuring device for the room. The TRV(s) will then be controlled by it. Ideally you'd do this for all rooms as the TRV is rarely in the best position to give an accurate room temp measurement but obviously the cost of adding them to all rooms would be high

    Had a similar issue with a bedroom that is above our garage and also has three outside walls. Adding a WTS resolved the issue
