Frost Guard + temperature offset?

Does the temperature offset affect the Frost Guard function. E.g. If I set the temperature offset to allow for the position of the thermostat near the radiator such as +5 would that prevent the Frost Guard from starting the heating until the room was at 0 degrees?

    From the behaviour of my smart TRVs heads, yes it seems so. it seems to be simple arithmetic, not a differential offset.
