Honeywell t8400a -> tado
Hello, tado community! I’m seeking for help. I want to switch from Honeywell to tado, but I’m not sure if my current setup is compatible. I’ve recently moved to a new apartment, so everything has been installed by previous owners.
Any help appreciated.
Current setup:
- District heating
- Honeywell controller t8400a
- 4 radiators (2 with old knobs that can be easily removed , 2 with quite new knobs that cannot be easily removed, I need to buy some instruments to remove them)

@Ermak Hello ermak. I looked at this earlier today with limited success finding your T8400a. The initial reaction looks like a ‘volt free’ thermostat connection that Tado should support? I can’t comment on the rad TRVs.
Best suggestion is to reach out to Tado support for their advice and confirmation.1 -
