remove heaters for paintings

I had to remove the heaters because of painting.

To continue to use hot water was necessary to close valves on wall heater connections; for the outgoing valve was not a problem because it is totally mechanical but for the incoming valve, the one controlle by tado smart valve, it is not available an option to only close the valve, to do it was necessary to simulate the use by setting a lower temperature than the real temperature. Is it available an option to close them ?

@Logicamo Welcome. The original dumb TRV will usually come with a plastic cap to turn off the valve.

When you disconnect the radiator it's strongly recommended to use an end cap (with a rubber washer) on the valve connections.
