    @paw47 welcome. The devices come with AA or AAA alkaline batteries that last longer than I expected, We use the recommended AA Panasonic eneloop rechargeable batteries in x12 TRVs. Not had any issues. Our rellie has used AA Duracells and Panasonic eneloops in x10 TRVs. After two years, we replaced the original AAA alkaline batteries in one of three wireless thermostats with Duracells.
