Sounds like a stuck relay. Have you tried gently tapping the receiver with the power off to see if that will free the relay?
If that doesn't work, I think the receiver will need to be replaced. In the short term, you could wire it up so CH and HW are permanently on

I’ve tried everything, bar fitting a Hive. Terrible company I’ve never had to deal with and hopefully never will again.0

Is it in warranty? If it is, surely Tado can just send a replacement?
