According to German discount collector website "MyDealz" (same as HUKD in the UK), the newsletter and 50% discount codes did indeed go out already; although some report not having received anything yet - just like you...
I wouldn't be surprised if they split the recipient list into multiple batches - so there might be still hope...0 -

As I posted also on the German forum we have reached out via email to all customers that had expressed interest for an upgrade offer (and are eligible/compatible) when we shared the product news, after launching tado° X in May.
We know that that our email about tado° X in May wasn't read by everyone, so we will reach out to more of the loyal customers in the upcoming days with a personalised upgrade offer. Make sure to be subscribed for the newsletter as described by Emcee. Customers in the UK for now are excluded, since tado° X still hasn't been launched in the UK. Also there, however, the new UK Wireless Smart Thermostat Starter Kit and an upgrade offer should arrive within few weeks.

I have the same problem... I'm coming from Tado V3+ with lifetime Auto-Assist and, after buying the offer to upgrade and keep the Auto-Assist, now the APP tells me that I have to pay and if I click on restore purchases button it tells me that "no active subscription was found on iTunes"
Please help me, otherwise I will have to return all the devices.

I know this thread is a few weeks old, but now that Tado-X has launched in the UK, could Tado please share whether, how and when any upgrade offers will be shared with UK customers, including the extension of the lifetime Auto Assist grandfathering which I understand was conditional on purchased Tado-X through the discount offer?

I too have been following this thread as a V3 user who paid the lifetime Auto Assist cost and have had Tado for many years with many devices.
Being in the UK I too have been waiting for A. The product to come to the UK with opentherm and B. The newsletter or personalised email as an existing Tado UK customer with the 50% off offer and migration of Auto Assist over to Tado X which I’m willing to do but when will this happen??0 -

Can you disclose what the rules are for the different discount bands?
I have a very large v3 system that has range issues (18 tado devices). The cost of upgrading is large. I would have considered it with a 50% discount but not 35%.
I’m also reading that v3 to X does not have feature parity and lacks major features like weekly scheduling in the app which is disappointing.0 -
I understand this is disappointing….
Please take into account that the Wireless Starter Kit is 120 pounds in the UK and 120 euros in Europe (after the discount). On top of that, the UK kit is a 2 in 1 as it replaces the Programmer. The launch offer you received was therefore considered fair by my colleagues.
Although tado° X does not have all of the same features as V3+ and other V generations, weekly schedule is indeed possible.
Other benefits you might take into consideration include:
- Mesh connectivity
- The ability to use multiple wireless thermostats, which also work as repeaters
- The ability to simultaneously influence zone thermostat and boiler, as explained here

As far as I understand, the emails started being sent out yesterday in a staggered fashion.
I will create an official tado° post next week asking who did / did not receive the offer. Please remember to check your Spam!
My suggestion is to wait until next week and, if you did not receive the offer, let me know in the above-mentionned post. This way I can properly collect information on which newsletter-subscribed, community members did not receive any offers.1 -
