@ACCESS345 sorry to hear you are having problems with your heating. Can you tell the forum what Tado components you are using (wired stat or wireless, TRVs?), your boiler make model and type (combi or system), zone valves (Y-plan or S-plan)? That helps contributors to help you.
For a first check in the dark … If the heating won’t turn off and Tado says it’s off, the most likely suspects are the zone valves.

Very odd. I replied to this with a load of questions last night but it said my post needed to be approved ???

    Hello @ACCESS345

I agree with @wateroakley and @SteveIreland that more information is needed.

From my side, I can offer:

Based on your Home data from May 22-today, it appears that the only call for heat was made in your front room on May 22nd around 19:00. No other calls for heat appear to have been made in any other room during this time.
It also looks like the device in your front room was intermittently on and off between May 22 and 23. Is this when the issue began?

OK, my reply last night didn't post for some reason

    Essentially, I asked the following

    1. Is this a new install or an existing one? If existing, has it ever worked correctly?
    2. What Tado components do you have installed?
    3. If it has worked correctly previously, has anything changed recently?
    4. What type of system?
      a. S-plan. Hot water tank and at least two, 2-port motorised valves. One valve for HW and at least one valve for heating. More valves may be present if your house is divided into physical zones
      b. Y-plan. Hot water tank and one, 3-port motorised valve. The valve can be in three positions - HW, heating or both
      c. Combi. No hot water tank i.e HW on demand.

My feeling is that if it's a new install, then get the wiring and Tado configuration double checked. Post pictures of the before and after wiring.

If it's an existing installation that's stopped working properly then I would be suspicious of a failed motorised valve (S/Y plan) or an issue with diverter valve in the boiler (combi)

Regardless of the system and whether it's a new or existing install, your radiators shouldn't get hot if they're turned off in the app. This would make me wonder if the TRVs are installed correctly so that they're able to fully push down the pin to close the valve

    OK, a couple of things

    1. Please describe the Tado equipment you have installed.
    2. Has it ever worked properly or have you just installed and having this issue?
    3. are you 100% sure that your Tado TRVs are compatible with the radiator valve body and able to shut off the flow?
    4. what type of heating system do you have?
      1. S-plan. Hot water tank and at least two separate 2-port motorised valves. One for hot water and one (or more) for heating zones?
      2. Y-plan. A three-port, three-way valve that can do heating, hot water or both?
      3. Combi boiler i.e. no hot water tank as boiler provides HW on demand?

If you've just installed and having this problem then you need to review the wiring and/or set up so it is correct for the physical pipework you have in place

If this has worked previously and now isn't working then my money would be on a faulty motorised valve

However, even if you have a faulty motorised valve, your radiators shouldn't get hot if they are individually turned off so you should check that the Tado TRVs are actually able to stop the flow in the radiators

Too many variables to help you fully right now so please provide more detail and the community will do its best!
