Humidity/ adjusting temp offset

I have trv on all rads. Humidity levels read 65-75% increased risk of mould when heating offf. It's an old house in good condition no condensation or damp open windows regularly. I read about adjusting temperature offset facility mine are sitting at 0. Do I adjust them to help readings improve?? Do I add or reduce ? Any help appreciated

    Hello. The offset is there ONLY to support a correction for wrong temperature readings such as those due to close proximity of the device to the radiator. If your temperature readings are wrong then your Humidity readings will also be wrong because it is actually RH not H i.e. Relative Humidity i.e. Humidity relative to temperature.

    Ist step - get an accurate thermometer and place it close to the device in question and compare the readings.

    All devices are very close to radiators. So I get a thermometer do I measure the rooms with the heating on or off? And take the reading next to the device in every room?
    And depending on what they show I then adjust the temperature offset? If tado is lower do i adjust temp lower and if tado is higher do i adjust temp higher or the opposite?

    Concentrate on the temperature and if that is higher than the thermometer then you need to use the offset to reduce the displayed temp - minus offset.

    The main problem with an offset is that it is an amount at a given temperature rather than a percentage which could be applied against all temperatures. BUT, that said, if you do your trials at your target room temperatures (wrong time of the year for this?) you have to accept that they are reasonably accurate at that point only.

    If you want to try an alternative (greater cost) the following link gives you an angle device which takes the valve away from the radiator reducing significantly the heat bleed. If you decide on this try it on one rad to start with.
