Can’t turn off thermostats
Hi,
I have three smart radiator thermostats installed and they worked very well all winter long. Now it’s spring and the temperatures are high, so I want to turn off my thermostats but I can’t. I select turn off all rooms in the app and they do turn off, but a few hours later they’re back on by themselves. The room temperatures should also be above the thresholds, but I still can hear the heating working.
I tried setting the thermostats to off by manually turning them until they showed off on the LED display. They did turn off but they turned themselves back on after a while.
How can I prevent this? Thanks for your help.

@andresovela make the TRV changes in the Tado app. You can choose how long the change applies. Time, until next change, or indefinitely. Doing the change on the TRV will pick up whatever the app is set to.

Unfortunately that doesn’t seem to work. I set all of their target temperatures to 18 degrees just so that they stop turning on, and then I turned them off using the “Turn off all rooms” button.
All the thermostats show off “until you resume schedule”.
However, a few hours later, they were on again with the temperature set to 22°. How can I prevent them from going on again? I can’t find any conflicting schedules or anything that might be triggering them back on.1 -
I’m experiencing the exact same problem0

Hi @Stephanina,
In my case I had my thermostats linked both with the Tado app and I had added them to HomeKit as well. I had a HomeKit geofencing thing turning my thermostats on when I left home. I removed the geofence thing and my problem went away.0
