Radiator thermostat dead after battery change

Options

Today I had two radiators with the message: low battery. So I decided to change them.

I replaced the batteries in both radiator thermostats and only one came alive and the other is dead in the water. No lights, no nothing.

Does anyone know how to reanimate the radiator thermostat?

FYI: new batteries, tried to change polatity, the batterties have good contact with the lid, etc.

Any suggestions are welcome as it is really weird that a simple battery replacement is causing this.

There's a reset button. Follow instructions to reset and if the contacts for the batteries are not corroded it should start again. If not, replace it. This worked for two of mine.
