Time to upgrade the app?

This is a question for the community rather than Tado. I have held off upgrading to the V3+ app as initial reports were that it was not much of an upgrade and even a downgrade for some features (e.g. loss of the 3 bar heating symbol, inability to revert to schedule from manual control etc).

Can anyone advise on whether these issues have been resolved such that the new app is a true upgrade now, or is there still no significant benefit?

    I dont think it changed meaningfully if at all. Its still mostly a downgrade forcing you to pay a subscription to get functionality you already had.

    It’s still no significant benefit to upgrade and if you do it’s a backward step from v3, doesn't look like improving anytime soon.
    Really disappointed to say the least.
