Boiler not firing after power cut
Earlier the afternoon we had a power outage to our house. The power returned after 5 mins.
At 4:15 I noticed the boiler hadn’t fired and the heating was not on. It usually comes on at 4.
I looked on the app and the wireless receiver was showing as disconnected. I reset the receiver and turned the bridge on and off again.
The connection was established.
However when I send commands to the app nothing happens in the receiver and the boiler does not fire.
The only way I can get the boiler to fire is manually pressing the button on the wireless receiver when the orange light comes on.
The boiler then fires and our radiators start to work.
I still can’t send any commands to the wireless receiver from the app.
Even though technically everything seems to be in good order.
Everything is connected.
The boiler can fire etc etc.
Does anyone have any suggestions in this scenario? Perhaps I just need to wait for things to settle down and establish after the power cut, but usually when I send a command from the app one of the lights on the wireless receiver will change immediately and over an hour later still nothing….
Many thanks

Could it be a problem with your router, I would probably try another restart . . .

I’ve got this problem this morning. Everything is connected, wireless receiver looks fine. I’ve also rebooted or reset my router, wireless receiver and internet bridge. Like the OP the manual control at the receiver works but nothing from the app or schedule looks like it is received and triggers the boiler.
Any ideas?0 -
Contact tado via the app and make sure the wireless receiver is being read by them.0

I contacted them and they came back asking for installation details and wiring, even though my setup has been working fine for two years. Anyway, strangely it started working in the middle of the day yesterday so there either must be some weird software bug or they reset something in the background.
