I've replaced a Drayton RTC thermostat with with a wired tado, this connected to. Baxi combi boiler.

I set

the boiler heating to constant as per instructions but now the heating is permanently on, the tado app/thermostat is not controlling heating

i've attached a photos of the old thermostat wiring and how I've wired the tado

Any ideas why the heat would be permanently?

I have the same boiler and replaced a Honeywell thermostat no issues

    My observation is that on the controller diagram it refers to a relay, however from the pics provided you do not have a relay in the controller or the actual boiler. Are you expecting the boiler to have the relay? No relay, then it will not switch off. Of course, I could be totally wrong, not an electrical expert.
