Tado smart thermostat says heating off but boiler won't turn off

Tried resetting wall control and pressed pairing button on sensor. Turned boiler off then on. Its a sensor attached by wire to the router. it was working until plumber replaced a motorised valve. Now won't switch off and can't reduce temperature. Email support abandoned me

    tado emailed a list of instructions involving exposing wiring in the extension control and in the boiler etc. They said if that doesn't work to contact plumber. I've sent the email to my plumber as not happy dismantling thing myself. I'm hoping it's just an error by the plumber when he fitted the motorised valve. I think tado is talking to the water heater settings but not the heating. Waiting for second valve to be replaced next week as its the same ge as the valve that failed. Will keep you posted.
