Connect 2 zone Heatmiser UFH to existing tado
Hi all,
I had the heating working fine for the past 2 years with Tado controlling unvented hot water tank and radiators while a heatmiser system is controlling the 2 x UFH zones (same system boiler).
I am thinking on integrating the UFH with tado and replacing the heatmiser thermostats with tado wireless thermostats but prior investing the £££ I was wondering if that is plausible. The UFH zones are different rooms so there will be no conflict :)
My main challenge will be the wiring centre that the plumbers used to terminate all the connections (Salus) and that they have only installed 2 honeywell zone valves, one for heating and one for hot water tank .. The system works ok (not perfect) at the moment so I am assuming the port valves wont be an issue.
All the radiators are controlled using tado trv and the radiators in the UFH areas are set to frost protection (they were installed as a backup in case of UFH failure).
