Neeedle-Positions - HOW MANY ?
my "analogue" TRV's has got "Infinite" needle-positions....
meaning: they can control the ventil's-needle in a "step-less" way!
What about the Tado's?
they are digital - and they control through steps (by means of a step-motor/engine).
BUT, WITH HOW MANY STEPS DO THEY CONTROL THE NEEDLE??
4-16-256-xxx ???
My pre-assumttion:
A friend of mine, havd got these TRV's - and we hear the motor/engine move in very clear "big steps"..
and, from the "sound & app", it seems that there is ONLY 4 steps (off-min.-med.-max.)
Is that correct - or is there for instance 16, 256 steps in total ??

I think the number of steps is quite limited, certainly nothing like the infinite variability of a conventional TRV. There is a lengthy post about this subject above . . .0

I believe just the 4 positions that you've identified based on my experience with the app and the corresponding valve adjustments that take place when the number of lines changes in the app
