Tado Smart Thermostat and Smart Radiator Thermostat valves interaction question?
I don't know if my question has been asked before but if so I cannot see it.
I don't fully understand how the Smart Radiator Thermostat Valves work.
My house has one single zone heating valve and a second zone valve for the hot water.
It is the heating side I am unsure about.
My question is this.
For instance if room A has the room Smart Thermostat only
Room B and Room C have radiators with Smart Radiator Thermostat valves.
If the Smart Radiator Thermostat Valve in Room B and or Room C is calling for heat but the Room Thermostat in Room A is NOT calling for heat does the boiler respond to the Smart Radiator Thermostat valves, over riding the No Call from the Room A Smart Thermostat?

No. Any tado device can (and will) request heat when temperature of its zone is too low and trigger the boiler. But of course, it cant control traditional thermostatic valves. So if B is too cold and you have no smart valves in A (and D and E and F), then B will trigger the boiler and all other rooms will also heat up, unless the thermostatic valves there close.

Thanks for that prompt answer. Just what I wanted to know.

I have just raised the same question, so that helped., but I have a follow-on question..
If you have all of the radiators with Smart Thermostats, what is the point of the main room stat and if there is no need for it, other than being a thermometer, how do you remove it from a room?
Whilst it's configured within a room, should I just have it turned off in the app?
Thanks
