How to connect the wireless receiver to my system

Hi guys, I have a tado wired thermostat which is in my living room that controls the floor heating. I have radiator thermostats in the first floor and the attic. Recently I found out that tado only heats up the radiator when the thermostat in the living room requests for heating. I have city heating and I live in Netherlands .i was recommended the wireless receiver by tado support.

My question is how does this setup work. How do I connect my wireless receiver? Should I connect it to the wired thermostat? Or can I connect the wireless receiver to the city heating boiler ?
