Hi Jonny,

i was wondering if you could possibly help me with this opentherm situation.

i puchased a starter kit v3+ uk wireless but i want to to use opentherm with my ideal vogue c32 boiler which is currently working with my nest v3. ive attached my current boiler wiring. so what tadi device would i need, either a wired thermstat plus a additional wireless thermostat or would i be beteer buying the eu starter wireless kit?


also do you know how i would wire this boiler and i guess for opentherm it would just be wired + and - on the tado to the + and - on the boiler as it only has those opentherm connetions on the boiler?

    You would probably be better off buying the eu wireless starter kit but either that or smart thermostat is fine. You’re right on the wiring, you’ll also need a power source for the wireless receiver which can be supplied by the boiler. You may need to connect the Opentherm wiring inside the boiler but hopefully this has already been done.
