Vaillant ecotec plus 837 & Honeywell cm927

Hi

Hope someone can help. I have a vaillant ecotec plus 837 with a Honeywell cm927 wireless thermostat. I want to replace the cm927 with Tado wireless thermostat. According to tech support that's possible and fairly easy to do, would anyone be able to give me rough instructions before I purchase the kit or is it best to purchase the kit and follow the app?
Also, would the current Honeywell stay in situ and I just set it to always on?

    Not sure why I was worried about installing the Tado wireless stat! Very simple to do with clear easy to understand instructions on the app.
