Mounting braket claps are too loose

I have this kind of valve, I believe it's Honeywell no so sure. I can mount the base the metal part is fine, but the white plastic part is too loose and keeps spinning due to the fact that this black screw in the heart of the valve is a bit smaller than the white mounting claps. Anything I can do about this?!!
