How to build a system for a 2 zone + Hot Water Tank

Hi All,

Is the Tado system able to do 2 zones + hot water tank?

I can't find anything on the website that says it could support this setup.

    Yes, wireless receiver to control one zone and hot water, smart thermostat to control the other zone.

    I have the same question as the OP but would also like to know if under the configuration suggested by @johnnyp78 would both zones benefit from modulating?

    If you mean a modulation protocol like Opentherm turn it can’t be used with zone valves that operate on relay. Tado will simulate it though.

    Thank you, reading more on here, it seems Opentherm is only available for combi-boilers running a single zone household. Would have been helpful if TADO could specify this on their website!
