Will it work?
Hi
Looking to get a Tado system, we have an Ideal Esprit eco 30 that has a built in timer unit and a Sangamo twisty thermostat in the wall.
A) Will the Tado system work with our set up and,
If so,
B) Will it be a pain to install?
Thanks

If the timer unit can either be bridged or set to always on, I would think it would be a fairly simple install, judging by other ideal boilers. You would need a wired starter kit, assuming you don’t have a hot water tank.0

Hi Thanks,
I will have a look at how to bridge the timer unit as it is inbuilt. Also what would I do with the thermostat just leave it in the wall as a redundant piece of kit?
thanks

HI
Should add, we want to have the wireless thermostat as the twisty one is in a terrible location to be efficient and also want the flexibility of having the thermostat in the room where we spend most our time - thanks

Then you need the wireless starter kit. Once your old thermostat is unwired you can either leave it in place or do whatever you want with it, it’s up to you.0
