Large living/dining room
Hi all,
I've just installed a smart thermostat and 5 x TRVs in my home.
My living room/lounge is quite large with 3 x rads in the space.
Eventually I'll get underfloor heating but until that day comes I was planning to install the remaining 3 x TRVs in the space.
However, is it worth me doing this if I already have the smart thermostat in the space?
Thanks in advance

That’s really up to you. You could conceivably get away with not having them if you don’t mind your living room radiators coming on when other rooms call for heat.1

IMO, yes. If the 3 lounge rads are a similar size I’d install 3 TRVs and a wireless thermostat. Then it all works together and should balance.
The equation could change if one of the 3 rads is relatively small.
