Alarming rapid temperature spike in the morning

I have an extremely strange issue that started yesterday where my house temperature reading rapidly spikes to over 26C in the morning, despite the thermostat being set to 21C.

The reading is false and the app continues to say "heating to" 21C. This is bizarre and makes no sense. Why would the app be "heating to" a temperature several degrees lower than the supposed current temperature?

After around 20 minutes, I get an "open window detection" message - and the temperature starts dropping. This is despite the fact that no window has been opened.

I am so confused by this behaviour. No idea what's going on. Has anyone ever experienced anything like this?

    Are any of your batteries low? Sometimes they can cause strange behaviour like this

    No issue with the batteries, quite strange!

    Have a check of the humidity reading, if that's rising sharply too I suspect its the valve failing and leaking into the tado TRV hence the rapid rise in temperature.
