is the v2 internet bridge also compatible with v3 plus devices?

I recently bought a house with Tado V3+ equipment, problem is that the previous owner accidently lost the internet bridge. Do I need to buy the V3 bridge? Or would the V2 also work

A V2 bridge will work, and has the added bonus of including free Auto Assist for life
