Low Battery warning

Ever since I fitted the radiator valves earlier this year I have been getting low battery warnings. I check the charge level and find the battery charge to be full. I reset the unit and refit and it is fine. I have had over a dozen warning emails reporting a low battery state but all the units are still using the original alkaline batteries. Has anybody had the same experience?
