Heating on permanently
I installed a tado home system a few months ago. Tested the system and all worked OK. We have been using the hot water program fine ever since.
Turned on the heating a few evenings ago and after an hour or so we noticed that the heating wasn’t responding to the thermostat and was on permanently.
The only way to turn it off was to disconnect the supply.
On investigation there is a permanent mains voltage on the CH NO terminal. There was no heating on LED showing and the heating was showing off in the tado app.
To my mind the control unit has an issue and needs to be replaced under guarantee or warranty or whatever. Tado technical support is not proving very helpful.
Has anyone else had a similar experience.

Sounds like the micro relay is stuck on. If yours is the wireless receiver, some users have reported that tapping the receiver box can release the stuck relay. Otherwise its’s probably faulty.

Mine has started doing the same thing, heating on when not showing call for heat. gave the receiver a sharp knock and heating went off. Thank you
