Low battery question
Hi I have had a low battery warning since around Easter time and just ignored it as heating is off so I didn’t see the point in putting a new set of batteries in for six months when not in use. So question is if they die completely will I lose that head and need to set it up again ?
Thanks
Thanks

No, you'll just lose the ability to manage it and in theory it's meant to shut the valve so the radiator also wouldn't heat
Just stick new batteries in when you start using your heating to be on the safe side unless it's a room you don't mind being cold for a while until you get round to swapping the batteries1

The risk with flat batteries is that they leak and damage the device. Trying to clean the inside of the battery compartment of a Tado TRV, where there is limited access to the connections, is not going to be easy.

Thanks forgot about leakage but hopefully as they are less than a year old they will be okay but you prompted me to have a look0
