Can I see from the app if a radiator valve thinks it is open or closed ?
Another newbie question :(
Can I tell from the app if a radiator valve thinks it is open or closed?
Reason for the question is that I have Comap valves so need to select a pin to match physical dimensions and I'm right between two sizes. It seems that one of my valves is letting hot water through. So I want to check if it "thinks" it is closed and I simply put too short a pin !

Ah sorry that’s what I meant to write - yes they push in to stop the flow. That’s what the calibration routine should check. As far as I know there’s no way of seeing what the pin state is from within the Tado app.0

If the room is above the heating target (or set to off) then the Tado trv head will retract, which should bring the pin up and close the valve.0

Thanks for answering, I thought trv valves pushed in to close and stop the water flow ?
So there isn't any kind of maintenance menu that lets you see the commanded state of the tado mechanism ?0 -
Does the calibration routine check that the Tado pin hits "bottom" before max travel ? So if the pin I chose was too short I'd get an error ?0
