Anyone successfully connected wired Tado Thermostat to Ariston Genus One?

Hi, i'm having a (very) hard time to put this to work so maybe someone can help or already faced same issue:

I have an Ariston Genus One Net boiler with a wired Tado Thermostat, heating (no floor) and hot water. I've followed the Tado App for Installers app wiring diagram:

  • In Ariston i have connected to eBus, place a Bridge in TA1 and on TA2
  • in Tado iDgital +/- config D57

Best regards and thanks

  • I just made it. It works perfectly. After few secon of connection, boiler recognized tado. I'm able to adjust hot water and temperature
  • @Nuno_Silveiro Did you get this to work at all?
@FrancescoCio are you able to control boyh hot water and dual zone central heating with tado? If yes, which model/kit?
  • @FrancescoCio how did you make it? I just got a Ariston Clas One L WIFI 30, which has the same Bus BridgeNet protocol as all modern Ariston boilers. I connected it to a brand new Tado X via digital bus but it does not work. Tado X does not seem to communicate to the boiler. It does not start no matter what temperature I set.
In the old instructions for the V3+ version it was written that Ariston is compatible using Ariston-eBus/eBus2 BridgeNet setting ID menu config D57. I have no idea if this is the problem or not, and no idea how even how to set this D57 in the new Tado X version since the instructions are only for the old models

  • @maurello
Hi, did you make it work? I'm in the same situation, I have Ariston Genus One boiler and interested to get the Wireless Smart Thermostat X
    Thanks

  • Apologies. I still use the v3 version. The app. Should enable you to contact the technical support team and get specific wiring instructions for the x series. Did you try that?
If you then have problems with their instructions came back here.
  • I returned the X version and installed the V3. Now I am learning how to make my thermostat work with the smart thermostatic valves. It is not that straightforward
